About Marian Tours International

Who are we?

Judy Robinson, tour leader

Judy and friend

Marian Tours was founded in 1991 by Judy Robinson to take bus trips to the various Marian and Eucharistic conferences that were popular in the United States at the time.

As interest in these conferences declined, people began to look elsewhere for spiritually oriented travel. In response, Judy began to organize trips to such places as Fatima, Lourdes, Medjugorje and Betania (a site approved by the local bishop that became especially popular during the war in Bosnia in the early 1990s).

In time other sites, including The Holy Land, Rome, Ireland, central Europe, and Greece were added as interest in these pilgrimages in general increased. For those who would like to stay closer to home we also offer the the possibility of a trip to the California Missions or Eastern Canada.

Judy is a seasoned traveler, proficient at organizing fun-filled and interesting trips. And she has been able to attract excellent priests. The company name was chosen to truly reflect our mission: to provide excellent worldwide Catholic travel experiences.

About Group Travel

Catholic travel Pompeii Italy pilgrimage

A Marian Tours Group in Pompeii, Italy

Why should you travel in a group and not just go on your own?

Many find group travel much more fun and informative. On our trips, you have the companionship of a priest and a guide, which you wouldn’t have on your own. Detailed schedule planning is done for you, assuring that you won’t waste time or attempt too much.

Riding in the comfort of a modern bus sure beats driving in an unfamiliar country.  And, although it may not appear so in the beginning, group travel is more economical.

About Cost

If you check around, you will find that Marian Tours’s prices are competitive with comparable tours. But we have never felt that the trips that cost the least are the best.

We always strive to give the best value, which to us means the following:

  • Good but not luxury hotels
  • Good but not gourmet food
  • Convenient but not lavish transportation

There are ways in all of these areas to cut costs. But the cheapest prices seldom make for a pleasant trip.

About the Itineraries

Our itineraries include sites that we ourselves like to visit. We leave ample time for relaxed touring without your rushing through only to wonder what you saw.

All entry fees are included.  There are no surprise extra-cost side trips. The local guides we use are some of the best available. In short, you can book that “trip of a lifetime” with Marian Tours, fully confident you will have a great experience.

To be sure of this, we’ll be going with you.
